What the MTB Tour Operators Say
At Mountain Biking Africa we use Squirt on all our hire bikes because it is simply the best product on offer. It is easy to apply, comes in a great container which is small enough to carry with you at all times (I find this really useful when I am with a group of 10 or 12 novice riders) and it lasts. It lasts very well in all the conditions we ride in.
In the Knysna forest it usually very wet and muddy and I find my chains all purr through the forest. On all our overnight tours we ride through wet and dry conditions in the karoo. On dusty roads or the pouring rain I have never experienced any chain suck whatsoever because we always use Squirt. I now even give a complimentary bottle of Squirt to all riders on over night tours where we ride 70-80kms a day for up to 7 days. It just makes the drive train smooth....so we are free to enjoy the ride. It is a great product which I am very happy to endorse.
Every race I enter I make sure I have my Squirt. It made riding the Cape Epic last year a pleasure - a great test in really tough conditions. Good luck for your ride this year and keep lubing!!
