What The Pro’s say
Ned Overend

Ned endorses Squirt as the best wax lube he has used.
Edmund "Ned" Overend started in mountain biking in the early 1980s. He was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in 1990 and the United States Bicycling Hall of Fame in 2001. Even though he retired from Pro Mountain biking in 1996, he continued competing in endurance competitions like the XTERRA Triathlon, and regular road triathlons. While in professional mountain biking, Overend earned the nicknames "Deadly Nedly" and "The Lung", for he seemed difficult to beat and his aerobic endurance at altitude was phenonomenal, especially for a man of his age. Ned is now in charge of product testing at Specialized

When you apply Squirt lube liberally to a dry clean chain, you get amazing results, I love the fact that it doesn`t collect all the dust and dirt like conventional petroleum based lubes and this stuff really works! Clean up is a breeze, no more heavy degreasers and scrub brushing required, give your drive train a simple washing with soapy water a rinse and dry. Then re-lube and let the lube soak in and off you go. This Squirt stuff really works!

Travis Brown

"I have long been a fan of wax based lubricants for their cleanliness and resistance to attracting dirt but was disappointed with durability. Squirt stays clean and is also the most durable lube I have used."
Travis Brown is an American professional bicycle racer. He primarily competes in cross-country mountain bike and cyclo-cross races but has also raced on road bicycles from time to time. Brown started racing professionally in 1990 and partially retired at the end of the 2004 season.
Brown is now incidentally-sponsored racer for the TREK bicycle company, whose job is in product development and testing of these parts in racing environments. His long experience in racing- along with his long professed love of epic training rides- makes him an ideal tester for Trek bikes and equipment.
Travis is notable for the length of his competitive racing career. In 1990 he raced the first official UCI World Mountain Biking Championships in his hometown of Durango, CO, won the US National Champion MTB XC race in 1999 and won the Marathon National Championship at Mammoth Mountain California 2005. In 2006 he was Marathon National Champion again.
Conrad Stoltz

“Squirt is the best lube I’ve used. It does the job - stays on and stays clean”
Conrad Stoltz is an athlete from South Africa. He competes in triathlons and was twice crowned World Champion of the XTERRA series of off-road triathlon races.
Stoltz started competing in the multi-sport disciplines of duathlon and triathlon through his involvement in cycling. He is most famous for his exploits in the XTERRA series of off-road triathlons where he claimed the World Championship in his rookie season (starting the season without sponsorship) in 2001 and successfully defended it the following year.
It is also in this series that he earned the nickname "Caveman" in all likelihood due to a combination of his large stature - he is 6 ft 4 in (1.93 m) tall and weighs between 176 lb (80 kg) and 180 lb (82 kg) - and his speed on downhill sections of the mountain biking leg.
He recorded the fastest time in the cycling leg of the first ever Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics and usually the mountain biking leg is also his strongest of the three legs (due to his cycling background) that make up an off-road triathlon (the other two being swimming and trail running).
Conrad topped the log for the 2007 USA Xterra series and is now 2007 USA Champion. He went on to win the World Championships in 2007 in Hawaii and is truly the best Xterra tri-athlete in the world.

Here a little story bout my mening off Squirt Dry Lube.
First time I ever used Squirt Dry Lube was in The cape-Epic mountainbike stagerace in South Afrika 2004.I think it was 1 of best races in the world to test Squirt dry Lube cause the conditions were extreme. Squirt proved during the race that its is unique and best you can get. Why......If you put the lube on a dry clean chain, let it rest for a while you notice that the lube is going in the brackets of the chain and not only stay on the `outside` off the chain. So you grease it completely, even on a new chain I use it before starting to bike.
Thats I think the reason why you dont have chain suck at all. If you put normal lube on a chain it only stays on it, so you get dust and mud inside chain and than its not rolling smoothly anymore. 1 stage I started with another lube...the conditions were so bad, lots off mud etc, the whole time I had chain suck till someone helped me out on a depot and put Squirt on my chain, no chain suck anymore, so even if you put it on a dirty chain its going to work.
The last race I did and won was in the Simpson desert in Australia. The conditions were from sandy and 50 degrees to cold and lots of mud and rain. The positive thing in the sand and heat was that the sand and dust didnt stick on the chain. In the rain and mud i noticed that I didnt had chain suck again and that my chain stayd better than the same brand chain that my teammate used, the difference was that he used another lube. He is convinced now. he uses Squirt.
The other great thing with lube is that cleaning the chain is lots easier than most other much more greasier lubes. So make it easy for yourself and your bike and start using Squirt.

...in Kaprun it was very wet and the Squirt lube worked fantasic. The chain didn`t dry out, no squeeking after 6 hours, perfect!! We are very pleased with the performance of the lube. I`m glad we met up by the Transalp so we have the opportunity to try the new product. I trained both yesterday and the day before in constant rain and I only put the lube on once and the chain is still good, not dried out from the rain, no squeeking. Really amazing!!
Our whole team is using the lube. And from the team 4 riders will be on the start in Athens - Ivonne Kraft (Germany), Lisa Mathison (Australia), Jenny McCauley (Ireland) and Michi Weiss (Austria). Read About The GHOST Racing Team!
Chris Gagnon

Our team just finished a 24 hour race and was using Squirt lube as their main source of chain lubricant. The results were amazing, especially since the conditions were horribly muddy and rough on the drivetrain. Our 5 person team took 3rd and I took 3rd in the solo class. I qualified for the race in the Elite class at the World Solo 24 Hour Championships on Sept 4th held in British Columbia, Canada.
Mark Collins

Team Mazda - third in the world championships 2002.
...In this type of racing theres no time for chain cleaning which in the past proved to be major problem. Our chains have never stayed this clean, and we ride a lot of mud and dust for days on end...
